A Little Bit of Love For... L.K. Bennett

Or their skirts to be more precise. We all know L.K. Bennett produce some of the most beaut shoes around but did you also know they have an amazing ready-to-wear collection each season? Classic and chic, with everything from dresses to tops to coats, its my go to place for browsing and outfit inspiration!


L.K.Bennett is a British, accessible and yet luxury brand with a focus on modern femininity, colour and style. Founded by Linda Bennett in 1990, the ready-to-wear collections were first introduced in 1998, establishing the company as a leading fashion house producing wardrobes for all occasions, season after season.

This new little 'A Little Bit of Love For...' series will be a chance to share some of my loves... mostly material, occasionally not! I have been coveting a wardrobe of L.K. Bennett skirts for years now and this season the brand have somehow managed to step up their game once again.

Perfect for every occasion from the office to the races, and the polo to weddings, the summer styles are elegant and striking and most important of all totally comfy to wear from day to night.

Pairing a skirt and a top is relaxed, yet elegant, whilst still looking smart and well-put-together. I think a skirt can be just as smart as a dress and love the longer skirts from L.K. Bennett - pieces that you don't have to worry about sitting down in, or standing up again in for that matter!

In my opinion, its definitely still okay to be bold when going to a formal event and a mix of statement skirt and more subtle top is a great way to do this. For me its an outfit that works for all occasions and is incredibly versatile. I could wear a statement skirt and tee to a work event or a family party and pretty much everything in between.

The L.K. Bennett collection definitely isn't cheap, but I have a couple big events coming up this summer and I am more than a little bit tempted to splurge! L. K. Bennett fulfils top to toe attire for the entire season and the collection is classic, which means it will last well beyond 2016 - a true wardrobe investment.
